Chlor Guard is a cleaner with sanitizing power. It bleaches, disinfects, deodorizes and sanitizes. Chlor Guard is ideal for the cleaning and sanitizing of equipment where a longer contact time is required and also as an excellent stain and mould remover. This product may be used in all food type factories where the use of chlorine is suitable.

a) For general disinfecting: Clean surface thoroughly with a general detergent and then use Bleach-5H at a dilution rate of 1:100. The product will contain 400ppm of available chlorine at this dilution. If the surface to be cleaned is non-porous, dilute at a ratio of 1:200. b) This product can be used at lower concentrations for water purification, drain cleaning etc. |
| Toxicology and First Aid |
Caution: This product should not be used on items such as galvanized surfaces and aluminium alloys. Do not mix with acids or acid based products as this will result in the release of chlorine gas. Inhalation: Ensure good ventilation in the area where product is used. If throat irritation occurs, remove person to fresh air and seek medical advice if symptoms persist. Skin contact: Wear gloves when handling this product. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist. Eye contact: Wear safety eyewear when handling this product. Seek medical advice and rinse eyes with clean running water for at least 15 minutes. Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention. |
| Storage and Handling |
Store this product in a cool, dark, locked room. This product must be stored in a place where it cannot be accidentally knocked over and it must be out of reach of children. Containers holding this product must be tightly sealed when not in use. Dispose only in accordance with Local Authority regulations, via an authorised disposal agent. Do not mix with other chemicals. |
